Twisted Paper Rope
Sandpaper
Wood Glue

Stirrer
Safety gear (Protective Glasses, Clothing, Ear coverings and a mask)
Go back to bare
- Using sandpaper, remove any existing coatings from your piece.
- Wipe the timber with a clean cloth, ensuring you remove all sanding dust.
Time to stain
- Use a cloth to apply a coat of Feast Watson Prooftint in Brown Japan.
- Allow to dry before applying a second coat. If you would like to deepend the colour, apply an additional coat.
- Allow to dry completely.
The final step
- Use a cloth to apply a coat of Feast Watson Timber Floor Wax. This will fully develop the Prooftint colour and provide your timber with protection.
- Allow to dry completely.
Add decoration
- Tightly wrap the Twisted Paper Rope around the base of the bedside table and fix in place with wood glue. Continue this method until the base is fully covered.
- Complete this process but in the opposite direction.
