How to prepare your furniture for Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil:
Prep in one easy step.
Using Feast Watson Woodprep, ensure your furniture is clean from any dirt, oil, wax or grease. Allow to dry before moving on to application.
How to apply Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil:
Let's bring that exterior furniture back to life!
Make sure your Outdoor Furniture Oil is thoroughly stirred both before and during application, to ensure a uniform colour.
If you require more than one can, mix them together in one large container before starting work.
Using a quality brush, apply your first coat. Work in sections, in the direction of the grain. Remember to ensure your edges and end grain are fully coated! If you are using a spray, remember to back brush to ensure even penetration.
Go make yourself a coffee and allow the oil to penetrate.
Once you have had your coffee, remove any excess oil with a brush or clean cloth.
Leave to dry for 12 hours before the second coat.
TIP: When applying oil to outdoor furniture, it is always best to work on the inside of the leg first and lap your way around, then work up onto the seat. Finish off with the back of the chair or bench.
How to maintain your furniture after using Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil:
As you would with any outdoor furniture, keep an eye out for any signs of colour loss, dryness and weathering.
If required, use Feast Watson Woodprep to clean the surface, and recoat with one coat of Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil.
Do not pour leftover product down the drain.
Brush leftover product onto newspaper, and allowed to completely dry, before disposing of via general waste collection.
Empty containers should be left open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container through steel can recycle programs such as Paintback.
