Feast Watson Timber Floor Wax is a natural looking, hard wax oil technology that enhances the natural look of timber floors yet hard wearing with a sumptuous matt finish.

Don't be fooled by the name, Timber Floor Wax is suitable for interior timber flooring, parquetry and furniture. It’s a quality hardwood floor wax with a difference.

Feast Watson Timber Floor Wax is compatible for use over the top of timber floors already coated in Feast Watson Floorseal Oil - which is now discontinued. Floors previously coated in Feast Watson Floorseal Oil that require a maintenance coat can easily be prepared and recoated with Timber Floor Wax to achieve protective and natural matt finish floor.

Where to use

Ideal for interior timber flooring, parquetry and furniture

Recoat time

Recoat after 6 hours

Coverage rate

Softwood up to 20m² per litre.

Hardwood up to 24m² per litre.

Clean up

Mineral Turpentine. Soak application cloths in water prior to disposal.

Finish

Hard wearing natural clear

Dry time

Touch dry after 3 hours.

Light foot traffic after 24 hours.

Heavy traffic after 72 hours.

7 days to fully cure.

  1. Punch exposed nails below the surface. Holes and imperfections should be filled with timber putty after the first coat of Timber Floor Wax to match the putty colour with the coated timber colour.

  2. Sand timber to an even, smooth surface. Vacuum and wipe to remove sanding dust.

  1. Previous coatings need to be removed by sanding surface back to bare timber. Ensure that any sanding dust is cleared.

  2. Previous coatings of Timber Floor Wax or Floorseal Oil can be recoated without resanding.

How to apply Timber Floor Wax:

  1. Surfaces to be coated must be dry and free from all dirt, dust, grease or polish.

  2. Timber Floor Wax should be stirred thoroughly before and during application with a flat blade stirrer, taking care not to introduce bubbles.

  1. Apply a coat of Timber Floor Wax to the timber with a brush, roller or cloth. Ensure the surface is evenly covered.

  2. Once the first coat is thoroughly dry, any grain raise can be removed by lightly sanding with 240 grit sandpaper, being careful not to sand through the coating.

  3. When the first coat is thoroughly dry. Apply a second coat of Timber Floor Wax, following the application process outlined above.

Note: Do NOT apply in temperatures under 10°C or over 35°C.

How to maintain your timber after using Timber Floor Wax:

  1. Allow Timber Floor Wax to cure for a minimum of 4 weeks before cleaning.

  2. Regularly clean floors using Feast Watson® Floor Clean™.

  3. When surface requires an additional coat, clean with Feast Watson® Floor Clean and allow surface to dry fully. Then, apply one coat of Timber Floor Wax as per application directions.

Do not pour leftover product down the drain.

Brush leftover product onto newspaper, and allowed to completely dry, before disposing of via general waste collection.

Empty containers should be left open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container through steel can recycle programs such as Paintback.
