Feast Watson Timber Primer

Feast Watson Timber Primer is the essential first step to prepping your timber for stain and varnish.
Designed to preserve wood by inhibiting mould and repelling water, our Primer is the perfect choice for all exterior timber or interior damp areas (such as bathrooms). Use on new timber for lasting results.
Note: Timber Primer should NOT be used under penetrating coatings such as Feast Watson Wood Shield Oil, Feast Watson Matt Look Decking Oil or Feast Watson Timber & Deck Stain.

Previously coated surfaces need to be sanded to bare timber.
Remember to remove all sanding dust before coating.
How to apply Feast Watson Timber Primer:
It's easy! Just follow these steps:
Ensure your product has been thoroughly stirred before and during application with a flat blade stirrer.
Using a brush, roller or spray, apply your first coat. Ensure edges and end grain are fully coated.
A second coat may be necessary for porous timbers. Additional coats can be applied wet-on-wet.
Leave to dry for 12 hours before overcoating with your desired finish.
You are all primed and ready to go.
How to maintain my timber after using Feast Watson Timber Primer:
Keep an eye on your timber for signs of colour loss or surface defects.
When required, sand back the previous coating and remove dust.
Apply Timber Primer as per application instructions.
Apply desired finish.
Do not pour leftover product down the drain.
Brush leftover product onto newspaper, and allowed to completely dry, before disposing of via general waste collection.
Empty containers should be left open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container through steel can recycle programs such as Paintback.
