Before choosing your stain, oil or clear finish, it is important to know about the timber you have selected. Each of the popular timbers here have characteristics that could affect the final outcome of your job and determine your choice of Feast Watson products.
This hard, dense, light red-brown timber is resistant to wear and commonly used in New South Wales and Queensland for interior flooring. Brush Box is a naturally oily wood with high tannin content. Its natural waxiness can cause adhesion problems with some floor finishes, but it is otherwise a good timber for staining and coating.
